Nendo for Marsotto Edizioni

The table is precisely stable due to the weight of the leg section and its appearance of instability in turn provides a new expression of agility to the marble.

Nendo, the design studio of the Canadian –born Oki Sato, designed for Marsotto Edizioni, the Sway side tables. They will be presented in Marsotto Edizioni's exhibition space at the Spazio Bigli during this year's Milan design week, which takes place from 12 to 17 April 2016.

The “weight” of marble is often perceived as a negative factor, but this element has been actively exploited, resulting in the creation of a table that is tilted to one side. The table is precisely stable due to the weight of the leg section and its appearance of instability in turn provides a new expression of “agility” to the marble.

The tables come in two colors, black and white. The exhibition will be divided by color into right and left side creating a visual effect, as though spaces reflect each other like mirrors.
